this policy explains what data bling ai (“we”, “our”) collects when you use the bling ai mobile app or this website at blingai.app, how we use it, and the choices you have about it. plain language, lowercase, no fine print.
what we collect
account information
when you sign in with email or apple id, we store your email address and a unique account identifier. you can use bling ai without an account in guest mode — in which case we don't collect any identifying information.
photos you upload
when you upload an iphone photo of jewelry to generate marketing images, that source photo is stored securely on our servers for the duration of your session and any active generation requests. you can delete your photos at any time from inside the app, or by emailing us.
generated images and videos
images and videos that bling ai generates from your source photos are stored in your account so you can re-download them. you can delete them at any time.
usage analytics
we collect aggregate usage data to understand how the app and website are used:
- on the app: install attribution, app opens, and feature usage (via singular)
- on the website: page views and traffic sources (via google analytics 4)
we don't link usage analytics to identifiable account data when we analyze it.
subscription information
if you purchase a subscription, payment is handled by apple through the app store. we receive confirmation that you're a subscriber (via revenuecat) — but we never see your payment details.
app tracking transparency
the ios app shows you an apple att prompt on first launch. you can decline tracking. our attribution partner (singular) respects that choice.
how we use your data
we use your data to:
- generate the images and videos you ask for
- maintain your account and subscription
- understand how the app and website are used so we can improve them
- comply with legal obligations
we do not use your photos to train any ai model. your uploads are used only to fulfill your generation request and are not retained for training purposes.
who we share data with
we share limited data with the following processors that help us run bling ai:
- supabase — authentication and secure storage of your photos
- revenuecat — subscription management
- singular — install attribution and ios analytics
- google (gemini) — ai image and video generation
- google analytics 4 — website analytics
each processor handles your data under their own privacy policy and our data processing agreement with them. we don't sell your data.
data retention
we retain your data while your account is active. when you delete your account or request deletion, we permanently remove your source photos, generated images, and account information within 30 days.
your rights
depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your data. you can:
- delete your account from inside the app at any time
- email us at hello@blingai.app for any other request
we respond within 30 days.
children's privacy
bling ai is not intended for users under the age of 13. we don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. if you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we'll delete it.
international transfers
bling ai is operated from the united states. if you're located outside the us (including the eu and uk), your data may be transferred to and processed in the us under appropriate safeguards.
changes to this policy
we may update this policy. when we do, we'll change the “last updated” date at the top. material changes will also be communicated in the app.
